FFG rules in a Fantasy Setting

By gandalf9700, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

So I have been playing the Star Wars FFG rules ever since they have came out. I also run a Fantasy campaign using DnD that just ended. One of my players suggested using the FFG Star Wars rules in a fantasy setting. It got me to thinking that it wouldn't be that hard. The races, classes and such would be fairly simply to create. So I am going to go about it. If anyone wants to assist it would be great.

The classes I will be using are the standard DnD or others if someone would like to contribute.

Barbarian

Bard

Cleric

Druid

Fighter

Monk

Paladin

Ranger

Rogue

Wizard (Sorcerer and Warlock specialities)

Race

Dwarf

Elf

Hafling

Human

Gnome

Half-Elf

Half-Orc

Magic would be done off of the Force Sensitive trees with each school being a power and developing powers open ended. Force points could be mana and developed the same way.

Abjuration (Bind)

Conjuration

Divination (Forsee, Seek)

Enchantment (Influence)

Evocation (Unleash)

Illusion (Misdirect)

Necromancy (Darkside powers of other Force trees)

Transmutation

Sense, Protect, Move, Heal/Harm, Enhance, Battle Meditation could all easily fit in.

Psionics??

These are my initial thoughts, punch holes in it, add to it if you wish. Provide feedback to my idea and let me know your thoughts.

Cheers.

Thanks Kymrel, abandoning this and going to Zuloth's post. Thank you.
