If resolving a squadron command do both trigger simultaneously? Does your bomber get to move distance 3?
Corruptor + Admiral Chiraneau
Indeed it does.
Treat the Printed speed as "2", and then Increase it as per Corruptor.

Admiral Chiraneau
If a ship has Corruptor and Admiral Chiraneau equipped, engaged squadrons with bomber that it activates have a speed of “3.”
The reasoning behind this is they both have the same timeframe - which is during a Squadron Activation. This allows you to use the cards in the order that you Choose.
If you choose to use Corruptor First, and Chiraneau second, then you get a situation where you Increase your Speed from 4 to 5, but still can't move... And then activate Chiraneau to get a Printed Speed of "2"... In which case, nothing happens.
However, do it the other way around, and you get your Printed Speed of "2" from Chiraneau, and then an Increase of 1 from Corruptor.
Hope that explains...
Edited by DrasnightaIt does get to move at speed 3.
Yes this is helpful. I was unsure if you're even allowed to trigger more than 1 upgrade card with the same command. Thanks

Most definately Can. MOST of the time, the things you want to do are in the same slot (for example, Nav Team + Engine Techs would be awesome)...
But essentially, everything does work that way - One Navigate command, wether a Dial or a Token, will activate Engine Techs. However, you don't get to activate Engine Techs twice, because its an Exhaust Card. Without that, you could go for your life.

This is one of the rare occasions in which I'm not in full agreement with Dras. In the reasoning only, mind you, not in the outcome.
It seems to me that the whole point of specifying " treat your printed speed as "2" ", instead of outright saying " their speed is reduced to 2 " (compare with the wording of Independence) was to make it timing-independent. The Corruptor speed bonus applies to, but is separate from, the printed speed (note that it doesn't say "your printed speed is increased by 1" - if it did, I'd be more inclined to be on board with your assessment). So even if you resolved them in the opposite order you'd still go from 4+1 to 2+1, not from 5 to 2.
But my main argument is that, at a more basic level, command-based abilities (i.e. the ones which start with an icon and a colon) aren't timing-sensitive, in that their effects last throughout the entire resolution of the command, instead of being resolved once and then moving onto the next. In other words, they modify the command resolution, in essence adding the following to the Squadron command bullet point:
While you are resolving a Squadron command [...], treat that squadron as having a printed speed of "2". The speed of each squadron with Bomber you activate is increased by 1 until the end of its activation.
No timing indications are necessary as they are overlapping concurrent effects, as opposed to sequential events.
Anyway, this doesn't affect the outcome in the slightest. I suppose after drafting so many custom card texts, I have a somewhat different take on the structure of abilities and the logic behind it
