Rebel 4 ship or 3 ship

Hey everyone! I've got an upcoming local store tourney and I'm trying to settle on a list. What do you guys find works better in the current meta? A 4 list build I'm leaning towards is:

Gold - TLT, R3-A2, BTL-A4 - 26

Poe - VI, R5-P9, AT - 37

Jake - VI, Refit, AT - 25

Z95 - 12

Hopefully decent against turreted ships and those pesky arc dodging ships. May have problems with a full swarm? Z95 to block, PS9 Jake and PS10 Poe hunt the aces or get behind turret ships, the gold does his slow ride stress game. Wish I could fit PTL on jake but I'd need to drop both AT which seems like a bad idea. I look forward to those zero cost EPTs to throw on Jake.

Or do you guys think a 3 ship build would be stronger? I'm thinking something like Gold, Poe, Keyan or maybe Dash, B, B.

I'm still pretty new to the game so any advice would be very welcomed!

In my meta I would expect BBBZ, Tie Swarm, Bro Bots, Scum Fett, 4 ship scum, 5 Khiraxz (SP?), 4 Advance, and Deci + Ace plus various configs.

I personally prefer a 4 ship build, with the lowest skilled ship as a blocker and interference, could always throw shots with it and get lucky. Just preference and opinion.

Yeah I'm leaning towards the 4 ship too, though I've never actually ran a 4 ship rebel build. What do you think of my loadout?

The gold and Poe are fine, but Jake at 25 points is wasted. Jake is best with autothrusters, push the limit & veteran instincts at a minimum (proton rockets are great on him if you have room).

To keep the list as a 4 ship build, I would suggest dropping him in favour of something else. 25 points is a great number for rebels because you have a ton of good choices:

Biggs

Tarn with R7

green squadron a-wing w/ push the limit, test pilot, predator/outmanoeuvre and autothrusters

another gold squadron with twin laser turret

another pair of generic z-95s (becomes 5 ships, but still)

blue squadron b-wing w/ FCS

Just to name a few...
