Team Covenant on Youtube showed two new maps while at worlds. Bespin and Endor look Amazing. Anyone have any news?

Endor map is the same maps as Worlds prize's.

Bespin is a orange cloud atmosphere looking down to cloud city a ways away.

Bespin looks cool. That one looks/feels like you're a fleet fighting in orbit, not flying sideways like the others. Nice to have a mat that doesn't show a Death Star as well.

Would like to see a 3x6 mat. I assume those are 3x3.

Given that their biggest selling game plays on 3x3 it is likely more a matter of not selling enough of the 3x6 mats which wouldn't be much less money than selling 2 3x3's. Someone is releasing a 3x6 but it is as much as two 3x3 if memory serves.

I don't play X-wing but I'm much more inclined to two 3x3's for the versatility.

I would also love to see a 3*6 map. In particular, a 3*6 map with the deployment zones shaded in would be a godsend and would instantly open my wallet. Finagling around with the range sticks and corner markers at the start of every game isn't the worst thing ever but it feels like it's not very well implemented.

The "starfield" area of those two maps looks to have very different color/nuance.

I hope its just the lighting and camera because if theres a difference when set beside a regular Starfield, it will look awful

Wow... I totally didn't even notice that at first. I just ordered one of each and they are scheduled to be here Tuesday. I will lay them out and post back up on any "space" color difference, if any.

Ive just settled on getting a Starfield and Bespin instead of looking for a 6x3 playmat so it will be great to know.

Sadly, I don't have a star field map (tried to get one but they are sold out everywhere) but a buddy of mine has one so I should be able to get a few shots with his by Wed evening (provided the snow over here subsides by then).

So I finally got in my mats today. Shipment was deays because of the snow storm we had here on the east coast. Here is a pic of both mats together. There seems to be no issue with the space areas in coloration or anything. They pair up pretty well.

If you look carefully where the two mats join, they're starting out with the same starfield pattern.

Sh*t... It makes TOTAL sense, but I'm not certain my OCD can handle that... (Some friends installed a deck using manufactured plastic wood and I get lost in the repeating patterns of the fake grain...)
