So I have always had a soft spot for rebel 4 ship builds, even won a regional's last year with Wedge, Keyan, Roark and a Bandit.

in the vein of that list from last year, I propose a new list of:

Keyan Farlander + PTL + E2 + Jan Ors

Biggs

Gold Squadron Pilot + BTL A4 + TLT + R3-A2

Bandit Squadron pilot.

I have 2 points left, and as much as I wanted Integrated astromech to come in the new core set, sadly it did not.

having said that I have heard a few mentioning R2-D6 + Crackshot which seems very interesting.

against a wave of lists that all have Gold Squadron Pilot + BTL A4 + TLT + R3-A2 in them could R2-D6 + Wired be a viable method of keeping dear Biggs alive?

does anyone else have any suggestions for the last 2 points in the list? if it includes an astromech for Biggs for when the T-70 expansion arrives (hopefully pre-christmas) it would be great.

Flechette cannon/torpedoe or enhanced scopes/fire control system for keyan.

When integrated astro is available, that is probably the best way to keep Biggs alive without a big point investment. you just have to pay for a droid (any 1 point droid will do fine).

For now, I think R2-D6+crackshot is not bad because you have a good chance of using it before Biggs dies, and being able to inflict 1 additional damage before he pops could be helpful...

FCS on that particular Keyan build is not a bad idea neither...

Crackshot is never bad

not even against decimators

I've found Crack Shot to be great against Decimators with Isard on them. Spend Crack Shot after they've spent their token and congratulations, Isard has been completely worthless for one round. More if you have multiple ships with Crack Shot.

Any thoughts on the R2-D6 + Wired option for Biggs? If TLT Strtesshog becomes a thing (As Paul Heaver himself said in his post worlds interview with TC) is gaining the extra rerolls on defensive eyeballs rolled worth it? I plan on testing it out in preperation for a store tourney in 2 weekends time

R2-D6 with a 1 point EPT will be a great choice for Biggs once the Integrated Astromech is out, particularly concerning 1-shot EPTs like Crack Shot, Lightning Reflexes, Adrenaline Rush, etc. Because once you've spent that EPT, you won't care about tossing D6 out the back to sink a hit or a crit.
