3rd party playing surfaces and tokens

By Serpentarius, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

Does anyone know 3rd party manufacturers making acrylic tokens or playing surfaces for imperial assault?

3' x 3' playmat or card organizer mat (like prizes in FFG worlds) would be very handy. Skirmish points tracker could be handy too.

If FFG made ones I would definetly buy those.

Team covenant makes some nice tokens... if the tokens in stock. They seem to be popular because they are constantly out of stock. The tokens are really nice, and worth the price, but they seem to be inconsistent in filling orders. The customer service is hit and miss as well, so if something is missing it may be tough getting the order corrected.

I got some imperial an imperial assault set of bases, but because i ordered doubles of each color i think they got confused and only sent me one of each color instead of the 2 I ordered. They also didnt send me any of the sticky pads that are supposed to stick to the bases. When I reached out to them I got all the bases I ordered, but only got a third of the sticky pads that I needed.

I ordered the X-wing templates and they came as ordered no problem. My friend ordered the x-wing squad tokens and had no problem.

So I'm not saying don't do it, I'm saying beware.

Some of the armored cartographer and maps of mastery maps would be great playing surfaces.

This doesn't help with the map, but COMBATZONE Scenery makes excellent 3D resin scenery to help represent crates, terminals, doorways, etc. They also have sets representing cantina furniture, barricades, bacta tanks, rocks & stumps, etc. A little bit of 3D scenery adds a ton of verisimilitude.

I'm not clear what you guys mean by a playing surface. IA isn't a game like x-wing or armada, the map you play on is provided in the game, so what exactly are you looking for in a "playing surface"?

A playing surface is nice for presentation. I use grip mats which I initially bought for games of xwing and armada.

FFGs xwing playmats also work well.

Winner got a 3’ x 3’ playmat and top 8 smaller playmat to keep units organized.

Thank's for answers. Team covenant tokens look nice (anything else, but I don't like the look of acrylic crate), but I think they quite expensive. Combatzone scenary looks very interesting.
