Walex Blissex, does defense token return red or green?

By thanosazlin, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

some discussions in gaming, would Walex return your spent defense token as RED (exhausted) or as GREEN (ready)? i think since you discard his card it comes back GREEN and ready, if you could "exhaust" Walex over and over, then i would expect the defense token to come back RED (exhausted)..

Green I would say. They return bit they don't remember what state they were last because they are new tokens

Like Ly says, it's a "new" token from the Supply (where it goes when discarded) so it starts out green as if you'd placed it at the start of the game or gained it via Needa. Walex's reusability (or lack thereof) is not really a factor in this.

Even if you could argue that the token retains its readied/exhausted state after it's discarded (when it goes into the Supply), then it would follow that all exhausted tokens get refreshed during the Status Phase, including those in the Supply . In this case, you would only recover an exhausted token during the same round you discarded it. If you discarded the token during the squadron phase of round 4 and recovered it as the first activation of round 5, it would already have been readied.

i think Walex uses his skillz to repair them ;)
