I have an idea for a character based on the Road Warrior icon. Without sharing my own thoughts, I'd like to get ideas from you forumites about how to go about creating this character from scratch (chargen).

Actually SWTOR did something like this in the Revan content. There was a wookiee NPC that had a fully functional Protocol droid head strapped to his chest.

Ok... crazy idea:

Make the character a mix spec (probably a weird Marauder/Engineer or something, which stack fairly well). Then define the features that apply to Master, and the features that apply to Blaster. When combined, they work as a single character. When separated (which should be something rare that the player almost never does voluntarily) The player gets one, the GM the other. Stats are used ona Master or Blaster basis. (So if Blaster is brawling in the thunderdome alone, he gets no engineer talent access, and his Int, Cun, Wil, and Pre count as 1 [no change to threshold] and his skills are limited to those he gets from the marauder tree, If Master is fixing a salvaged turck/train alone, his agility and brawn are 1 and he gets no access to Marauder talents) and his skills are engineer tree only.

Not sure if that will work... but it's an option....

Also I'm pretty sure at some point you'll be required to ask the group who runs the party.....

In one of my old Saga games, we had a Jawa player who convinced our Ithorian player to wear a nice new "hat" which was actually a saddle. The Jawa kept jumping onto the Ithorian whenever he was bored with walking.

I like the Brawn only Droid Marauder with a smart Jawa that's either an Analyst, Scientist or Mechanic passenger for an idea

Among my PCs are an Aqualish Marauder/Gadgeteer carrying around, in a backpack, the Chadra-Fan Mechanic.
