What is the last ship blasting through the trees? Look close it looks different from the falcon.

Frankly I'm more excited for my Old Republic F&D game than for the movie, and I said that as someone who's written eight different articles about it.

30 Seconds of unique footage....

Isnt that Brienne/Phasma talking at the beginning?

I thought that was Lupita Nyong'o. But I'm really bad at identifying voices.

It's the falcon with it's new radar dish.

Trailers ultimately mean little you've got to be really bad not to make an interesting trailer.

The phantom menace trailers looked good.

Don't kid yourself. The Phantom Menace trailers looked like Bantha doodoo compared to this.

Incidentally, I went to see Spectre last night. The Force Awakens trailer at the start was easily the best part, literally breathtaking watching that on the big screen.

imagine: 200+ people get into the bond premiere.

once the starwars-trailer is through, 190 stand up and get out.

;-)

seriously - how could you? no offense, but money spend on the ever-same-bond-movie is one less ticket for the ever-same-starwars-movie!

And the worst part was hearing Sam Smith screeching out of tune, the songs good shame they couldn't get a singer with talent.

I am actually a Bond fan. I really enjoyed Daniel Craig's debut in Casino Royale, and was pretty hopeful for the franchise going ahead - it needed to be grounded back in reality following the later Pierce Brosnan films and the success of the Bourne films, 24 etc. Unfortunately, Quantum, Skyfall and now Spectre have all failed to live up to the promise of the quasi-reboot.

I could sit here and tear holes in the story and plot, but I won't for the sake of spoilers. Suffice to say they tried too hard to make connections to the previous films, at the expense of suspension of disbelief.

I thought skyfall was ok and casino royal was great . This last one felt too contrived and I felt like i had seen much of the movie before. that is because i had. From Russia with love/Live and let die ect.. seems like parts were cut and pasted from earlier Bond movies... however that said i DO like the new M and Q and even Craig as Bond. the movies story line just sucked IMHO..

Pretty much matching my opinion there, Swedge. Great actors, poor material.

It seemed as though they were going for Christopher Nolan style plot twists and "gotcha" shenanigans, but without the actual story backing it up.

I mean seriously, considering these guys are supposed to be British Intelligence they're acting really, really, REALLY dumb...
