Fleshing out Mountaintop Rescue & Lure of the Lost

By RusakRakesh, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

I am thinking about making something akin to Kainrath's Mos Shuuta Supplement - https://drive.google...UNtaXpNY2c/view

I would like to throw some ideas around, if anyone wants to drop a seed for adventure or some NPC names and roles, I think it could be cool to make it a thread and then edit into a doc... so go wild :)

Here are my rough ideas-

Locals to Spintir- Beside the settlement in the hidden valley and Reles, some other colonists have ventured into the depth of the huge planet and formed secluded settlement, secretly trading with Frostwall village and/or Reles. Some very remote ruins from the time of the Old Republic have become secret smuggling bases, some deserted for ages.

University of Reles- Fusion with Lessons of the past. Full review of the collection at the museum, and the private collection.

Rebel Cell - the contact is a recruitment lieutenant to a clone wars veteran of the Antarian Rangers. He has banded the some veterans of the local space police to stop the "imperialization" of Reles. Some groups within the cell wish to bring the Patronage system, some want to eradicate it.

One of the missions they might send the PCs, is to set a secondary camp at an abandoned mine (setup to follow up to Hidden Depths).

Smuggling rings - Heavy Gan's Movers are one of two other big underworld forces, the others are:

  • Corporate board of Reles, slowly corrupted by the Trade Federation and the New Order, they have awaited a time where they could take control of the entire sector, vying to put a Moff of their own. Most of them owe allegiance to some bigger underworld corporate power off planet, that send them and their pawns on errands.
  • Trandoshan Clan, surveying the jungle for treasure and game. Move guns to planet, smuggle out game, slaves and artifacts.

Two others make the local resistance and underworld wild cards:

  • Logging Work Gangs- While logging used to be done by Trade Federation mechanized fleets of droids, the clone wars has brought great distrust with them, and hurried to replace them with labor. Certain behind the scene forces want to achieve different things. Binary droids with operators, slave labor, using deforested areas for a new industry, etc.
  • Swamp swoop gang, raiding the local trade caravans. Some are rich kids of the industrial echelons. They persuade rich off-worlders and traveling youth to race with them in the deadly swamps.

bump

Don't forget Malefax's mercs. Who are these Advozse mercenaries? Who is their leader, and why are they working for this punk Sith wannabe?

The old ruin(other encounters in adventure book). We could toss in some interesting stuff on that
