So we are four weeks in, and they have exhausted all their obvious previews. What's next, shipping now or a 4-player skirmish preview?

That's exciting and sad at the same time. The Alliance smuggler is he only rebel ally I've actually been excited about. (I'm not that big a fan of wookies)

My stores distributer asked for final numbers, which means they are probably shipping/arriving next week. At least this is the usual trend.

Typically on the boat is 4-6 weeks so if Boba Rick's Nov 6th announcement (i.e. this thread) is accurate to the day, items could shift status any day now. Lot of factors involved in shipping across the ocean so results vary.

However, depending on how you've ordered, it's still possible to see things before Christmas.

My own group demanded I finish painting all the heroes before they'll play the Hoth campaign so I can be patient on when the new toys arrive.

It's highly possible they are already in the warehouses and they are just waiting for the right moment to finally ship.

If they ship by the begginng of the next week, we'd get the packs for the release of Episode VII or Christmas.

As the painter in my group, I feel your pain. Truth is, playing with painted pieces versus unpainted is like watching a movie in black-and-white versus color.

I can get behind this. I prefer the unpainted minis. I think they better represent the "strategic abstract" of the game, in the same way a DnD mini is not actually occupying an entire 5x5' square.

Personal opinion, of course. The painters do an amazing job.

Imperial assault arrived in UK stores (first) one year ago, it would've been nice if the hoth expansion had arrived in time for the anniversary.

Coolstuff had the availability date just changed from quarter four to December 21st. So, I think Hoth will be here sooner than later.

I really just want to know what Figures need snow bases.

I mean after one play through we usually make a custom campaign so we can use everybody but I really want to know if I should prep my second Han/Chewy/Vader etc a certain way.
