So I've been trying to download the Blank Inquisitorial Dataslate over at Dark Reign, and the download seems to be working just fine. Unfortunately, once it's downloaded, I haven't been able to enter any information on it. Instead, it just takes me to a jpeg upon which I can't write. Is it supposed to work that way? Has anyone here had any luck using it, and could they offer me some advice?

Paste it into a word document or similar, then add the text on there in the form of a text box laid over the top. That's what I did.
Yeah either use Microsoft Word, or simply open it up in MS Paint and create a text box over the "screen" area of the dataslate and write whatever you want.
I like to use letters that are colored green in order to get that ancient blackscreen with green glowing letters feel to them. Really hard-sci fi
