Just relised that its not limited to a ship so for laughs you can make those useless anti squadron crit rolls to kill off that Scatter token and then Intel Officer the other token for extra lols. A waste but if you happen to have no ships to shoot at, options.

You use intel officer and nominate a defense token that if used will be discarded.

Then your opponent spends defense tokens.

Then your critical kicks in at which point your opponent chooses a defense token to discard.

Then you apply damage.
