Goodbye Soontir.

The problem is for Poe (with R5-P9), not for me ;) I ran Panic Attack (love that list, excited for the attack shuttle so i don't lose stressstacking when using the TLT Stresshog, hopefully Zebs ability synergizes with dealing stress in some way) very early on and the TLT Stresshog is my absolute favourite ship!

I'm happy to see Soontir Fel as not the "go to" guy that EVERYONE puts in their list. Variety is nice.

I like R5P9 on poe, makes him less predictable than with R2D2

Mostly because it's a droid that the pilot was tweaked for.

you don't see any other pilots that keep their focus every time...

The problem is that stress controll is growing more popular, against that R2 definitly has an edge.

Stress control grows more popular because people are SICK of highskill boosters.

And I'm with them on that. What's use the game of predicting arcs and movements when some ships fly with cards already played?

If using two movement modifications most dodgers are naked or nearly such and you should still be able to guess approximate movement by figuring out their maneuver and how they'll likely react to where you go.

They're glass cannons. No doubt about that. What about Turr with auto thrusters? As long as you can stay within range one, they'll never get the TLT off.

Redline is a glass cannon. Squints have other means of survival than durability.

Soontir + Jax are still played in my meta.

Especially Soontir still is succesful in dodging, evading and killing stuff.

I'm probably just getting too complacent with him. Play him a lot. Must use other stuff for awhile.

As from your looks you should play with the Falcon anyways.

I just started flying Poe VI/AT/r5p9, Miranda Tlt/tact, and the stress hog Y and it is an amazing list. So amazing that it got me painting the ships involved (friend did Poe for me). This is going to be my go to list for some time.

The biggest problem with Soontir is his aversion to multiple stress and the fact that he relies on green dice. I have had games where at range 3 I get one shot by an HLC and then other games where I cannot be killed face up with Darth Vader over and over again. Green dice will ALWAYS fail you at some point. The runner up at worlds found that out against Heaver. Heaver killed Coran in a couple of turns of shooting, where all the runner up's other games that I saw on the stream, his green dice were on fire. It was so bad for him that he switched dice early on in that last match. Mathematically green dice are just not as good as red dice. There are more blanks on greens than reds. This leads to my biggest saying. Green dice are an illusion.
