A friend of mine had a question: Does anyone know if the reprinted big box expansions are coming in a box the size of the Woodland expansion box? We really detest that extra fold in the board. ​

I doubt it..

Lot's of things would need to be re-worked if they changed the box size.

I for one have OCD, so the extra fold in the board drives me absolutely nuts. Symmetry is lovely.

The Woodland format is actually the right size for Talisman big box expansions.

Still it was useful to have all those big boxes as they help storing the expansions. My 2nd copy of the game is stored with 2 small boxes (box included) inside each big box, after throwing the insert away.

I reckon I must have reprinted versions, my Dungeon and City boards both have 3 folds and fold down to the same size as the Woodland board.

My Highland board is the only one that has 2 folds, but all 3 came in the bigger boxes.

It's not the size that bothers me it's the extra fold as the boards don't like laying flat.

Another bugbear is the way that the Highland and Woodland entrances don't line up with the Crags/Forest (The Dungeon lines up with the ruins OK)

Has anybody else got these smaller boards?

Dungeon, Highland and the City are all in the big boxes, it's just the Woodland that's in the new size smaller box.

Ah ok. I just wondered if they had reduced the box size to go with the 3 fold boards.
