Besides the interesting little bits of more info on the product's homepage, such being some of the leaders and heroes included as well as the Death Star destroying a planet, I though it was interesting that the product's ID was SW03. So I looked back at the other Star Wars products all of which start with 01. With Star Wars: Empire vs Rebellion being SW01. So this begs to question what is SW02?

I have to be honest, while it looks like a cool game... This is one case where FFG won't be getting more of my money for a Star Wars product. I'm sure it will be fun and all, but between X-Wing, Imp Assault, Armada and the LCG... I have all the Star Wars I want.
Well it does have its own nieche being a 4 player game, I suppose, although most of us could also play X-Wing for that.

Yeah, I can't see a way to work it so that all four players are competing against each other. What, is one player more Rebellion than the other somehow?
Maybe ground and space forces can be split? Or maybe they cooperate and compete for victory points? Doesn't make sense for the Rebels, though.

If I knew anyone who played boardgames I'd be all over this! Alas... I have 3 different Axis and Allies games rotting away on a shelf. Looks fantastic though!

Splitting would be a dealbreaker for me. I have no interest in playing a 2 player game with 4 or more people, simply to alternate who gets to go this turn. Games need to have a point to each player. Each added player should bring something additional to the game.
The best Star Wars board game was Epic Duels.

That was my first comparison as well. Maybe my kids will be more excited to play a star wars version though. Not a day 1 purchase for me but will be keeping my eye on this game for sure.

You can get them often on EBay for anywhere from $10 to $50. I waited and I prowled and found this set a regular set and two loose but in fine condition for a whole great big $50 total.

F-Toys make one also but I do not like it as much as the Micro Machines classic.
I can see what looks like Mustafar in the worlds list, and Corellia is confirmed, so it seems like we're seeing both Legends and prequel worlds in addition to the OT ones.
