The challenge for November is to build a turkey list (like say rolling 7 dice on an attack roll or defense dice)(destroying your enemy with nothing but crits)(using bombs and never making an attack roll)(creating an unkillable ship). To be judged by your pears winner will be labeled as the "turkey" for the rest of the year

I will try to be a Turky. Me being a chicken is a close relative.

There was one game of armada, 1 game of xwing and 1 open table when I left at 830

I know that I have TOTALLY been off the radar the last few months with officiating. It seems like every week there is something going on Friday's that keep me from playing Xwing with you all. This week (11/13) I have a HS state quarter final match. Next Friday (11/20) I am scheduled to be on the Tacoma Stars game @ ShoWare (which is where I was last Friday as well). But maybe after that I can free up Friday's again to play some Xwing with you all on a more regular basis again.

I was watching some of the world's matches late the other night. I need to get some Kwings.

I'll be later than usual tonight. Probably around 8:00pm.

It looks like I may be moving out to the Tacoma area early 2016, so I will be looking for a new FLGS. It is going to be hard to leave my current group behind, but I look forward to meeting all of you. How is Xwing and Armada in the area? Is it pretty well represented? How are the stores, players, etc?

Again, I'm looking forward to heading to the Pacific Northwest but I want to make sure priorities like Xwing are covered!

Okay. I get to pay this friday. Trying to figure out when is a good weekend to have are store championship. I was hopi g for Jan 1 but that wont work. So I will be trying to get input for a good weekend in February or march.

There is armada at this store and a store in federal way about 20min drive north. Lots of xwing in the area. Federal WA on sundays. Fridays at the matrix. For the most part a bunch of laid back guys looking to play some friendly games.

I've played twice at the store in Federal Way that Doji mentioned, Fantasium Comics. About 7-8 people the first time there, and 5 this past Sunday (2 were playing Armada). Very friendly group, helpful to me being a new player.

I am not sure how I feel about having a "Wave 1 Tournament"-- depending upon how we define the word "tournament."

I kind of like the idea of "tournaments" pretty much being the standard "make a 100pt team using whatever available up to the current hotness."

That being said- if we decided to have a "tournament" on an off night that consisted of us playing in rounds using only what was only available during Wave 1, I am in. That being said, I would do it a couple of times and then add Wave 2 to the mix if it was still fun.

I can't make friday. But was wondering if anybody would be up for a 100pt game,mission, or huge ship campaign on sunday.

Is there anything going on in December? Maybe Santas sleigh? Bringing gifts "missiles". ??? Idk.
