My critique is paint worse so I can think of a better critique.
Was that helpful?
Seriously though, great job! I could never get those small details to work.
Wow thanks guys! I was expecting to get torn apart haha. It seems I have high expectations for my own work.

I'm the same way, never happy with what I end up with lol. But great job, they look amazing!
Really nice.
Blue skin is tough to represent well. I have tried it on 2 sets of Sabs now and made one of them more green than blue for a little variety.
Good Stuff.
My only critique is that the eyes should be a focal point, and your minis' eyes are lost. there's a bit of a highlight on the goggles' lenses, but it blends into the rest of the goggles. I would put a bit of red or green on the lenses of the goggles to draw more attention to the minis' faces. Also, did you give them any matte varnish/Dullcote? They're shiny, but that just may be a function of proximity to the camera's flash.
I hope this doesn't sound too harsh, because I quite like them!
I agrwe about the goggles, wasn't sure what to do and I got impatient and didn't want to paint it anymore lol
The shine is from the light and camera from like 5 inches away
They're actually very, very good. And I've painted minis for over forty years.
My only critique is not on technique, but expression. Why are they identical? Your guys could be blue-skinned and someone else's green, but they're BOTH "official" Rebel Saboteurs. The best thing about painting your own is really MAKING them your own; no reason those two fellows can't be totally unique.
By way of comparison, I'm painting two Trandoshans. I made one mustard-yellow with a red suit, and the other will be green in a yellow suit. More interesting that way.
Once I'm finished, I'll post mine, but I think I won with an albino trandoshan.
True, I will keep this in mind. I do want to stick to the card art as well. I could have done different skin tones or different bandolier.

Very nice. Well done
