Not quite, unfortunately. Its a weapon from Weik, and one of the locations described is named Vossport.

In the Force and Destiny core rule book, there is a reference to Voss on page 360/361. The Voss and Gormak are fading into extinction and the Empire is building industrial infrastructure on the planet.

I've been to all of my 4 FLGS' and even checked the Barnes and Nobles. There isn't anyone in the Dallas/Ft Worth Metro area with a copy of Nexus of Power.
The problem is that we play Monday night, and my friend is joining the group. He just moved back to Texas (from Vermont) with his family. His character is a Devaronian, and there's no way I can get a copy of the book by Monday, as even if I got overnight delivery from Miniature Market I wouldn't have it until Wednesday.
Can anyone get me the stats for Devaronian so I can make his character? Send me a message so that we aren't spoiling the book, and I'm not happy about asking, but I'm out of all other options!

The Voss are mentioned in Force and Destiny main book. They kinda mostly got killed...
Yeah, I wrote the planets section for F&D CRB. I was just as surprised to see the word Voss in Nexus of Power. But since we're talking about Voss now...I think it's a great planet to include in an F&D campaign in general. Despite the fact that the planet itself is almost unrecognizable from its TOR MMO era days by the Imperial era, GM's have the game lore to bring in at their whim to create any number of adventures and trials for their Force-powered heroes.
It's easy to imagine there is still a secret cult that try to follow the old ways, and it'd probably make sense for Palpatine (or snoke?) to use them and their ways as a foundation for his Prophets of the Dark Side. There are a lot of similarities between the two groups, any most differences can be explained by 3600 years of time. In game, the PC gets a sort of honorary association with the Voss Mystics, who didn't let non-voss participate prior. This can be a precedent-setting event that led to the inclusion of more non-voss, explaining the lack of any Voss within the actual prophets during the time of the Empire. Lots of fodder to be had as a BBEG organization for a F&D campaign by linking the Voss Mystics to the Prophets of the Dark Side.

P. 360 and 361 of the CRB discusses the planet, the species and the Gormak. Something about how "they should join us or die" and the two species are "slowly vanishing into extinction."
The Voss and Gormak are the same species well sub species of the same one and are interdependent on each other for survival. So the massive civil that has been ongoing forever is slowly sliding them both to extinction.

The electrostaff is pretty awesome if you don't mind carrying a rather large weapon.

Well, I'm the GM, so it's usually in the hands of NPCs...and it does wonders there 
As a player...well, Rey gets to walk around carrying something comparable, so it's not completely ridiculous. 
Why do we have Archaeologist, again?
So basically Tomb Raider except she's force sensitive or luckier than Han Solo and looks so much like Daisy Ridley that people think she's Rey's mother... or mistaken for her if she's a PC in the TFA era!

I was disappointed to find the same, and came on the forums for more details - it read like it was referencing a great little comic series from before established canon came about (like the Lando trilogy). If it was created for this book, then bravo for giving it an instant feeling of depth and atmosphere. It immediately made me want to set several campaigns there, since there are too many seeds to visit all in one.
Weik was listed in the F&D CRB, I believe, but it was an FFG creation for sure, just like Ord Gimmel and Auratera.
While at this year's GamerNationCon, I got to play in a pick-up game run by Sterling Hershey, set circa The Force Awakens, in which the planet Auratera and it's Force vergence factored very heavily. It was a fun game, though we didn't get to play the proper ending as we kept getting distracted by (fun) side conversations, though my PC did wind up rolling a Despair on his Fear check, and ran as fast as his legs could carry him at the sight of what he thought was Kylo Ren.

My interpretation was that was behind the security zone perimeter, but is close enough to said perimeter that it still counts as "last stop." So it's possible that PCs might be able to travel there, but they'd need to be very cautious about why they're going as well as making sure there's not so much as a whiff of any illegal doings on their part. The Empire's already fairly paranoid when it comes to security regarding the Core Worlds region, and they'd be even more so at a gateway planet to the heavily restricted/defended Deep Core.
While researching and writing this entry, I was under the impression it was the last place accessible without a Deep Core without a specialized Imperial Security Authorization. Salla Zend's Starlight Intruder had such an authorization to make the Byss Run.

The intention is that Empress Teta is the last system you can get to without such an authorization, but attempting to make any jump from Teta further into the Deep Core is heavily defended. Because S-Thread Boosters and interdictors are used to control a very narrow hyperspace route, they can control jump traffic thanks to a very limited number of approaches. Travel to and from Empress Teta is open, but obviously still heavily monitored for criminals and rebels.
Props to whoever name-checked Master Tholme. He was my favorite Legends Jedi (who I guess is now canon[?], since he was mentioned in Dark Disciple).
