My friend plays a Pippin (lore), Samwise, and Spirfindel deck with me a lot. It is a heavy ally deck that takes advantage of the leadership cards that get allies out fast. I'd like to find a complementary secrecy deck to go with it. We've been having trouble beating Ruins of Belegost. Any hero ideas?

Hmm, it's hard to make a good secrecy deck without any of those 3. His deck should be able to handle combat, so you can go for more of a support deck. If you have all the cards, you could try Rossiel, Merry, and Mirlonde and do some victory display shenanigans. Or when Land of Shadow comes out you could swap out Rossiel for Damrod and make a trap deck.

An Erestor, Merry (spirit), Mirlonde deck could work. As long as you get an Elrond's council in your opening hand (shouldn't be that hard) you can start with a threat of 19. Actually, I think you just gave me a secrecy deck idea!

I did get The Land of Shadow at Gencon so Damrod is an option for me now. I didn't realize the guy is only 9 threat. That would be a fun combo with him and Merry.
