Hey guys,

Just taking the time to look back at X-wing's history and really really appreciating how far we've come. I'm not really doing this to repent for the pessimism of Wave 5, which was very much deserved, but just to appreciate at how much more enjoyable the game has become with a slew of new upgrades and the very necessary M.O.V changes.

So let's give thanks to our awesome new overlords and how much better they've made this game. Lets give thanks to:

1.) Ships that hang off the base like they're trying to win a contest

2.) The sheer awesomeness of Conner Nets, old ordnance, and extra munitions

3.) Palpatine, for allowing us to quote our favorite hammy lines (and for laughing at his incompetent bodyguards)

4.) Brand new shenanigans

5.) the utterly marvelous crackshot

6.) and last, but not least, the new 3+ PS renascence

I think the impact of wave 7 has been a definite slow burn. We knew the meta would be shaken up, but I think only now are we seeing how diverse it has become. It is a great time to 'Wing.

I really appreciate how wave 7 has made older ships better. Anything that can carry illicit upgrades got really good at alpha striking, homing missiles are suddenly the best ordnance in the game, and anything with a bomb is a threat.

you mentioned Palpatine but you failed to mention the fix of my favorite ship in the galaxy a long long time ago and far far away. WITH WHOM carries a pilot that also fits in to the PS3 Resurgence.

Those aren't mine, but I believe they're meant to be Batman (whisper), Robin (echo), and Joker (Dark Curse)

the same player has an Iron man und Warmachine pair of punishers, though

- Stopping the PWT abuse.

- Giving new life to HWKs and Y-Wings.

- Giving new life to ordnance and bombs.

- Convince us that things as silly looking as the K-Wing and the TIE Punisher actually look good on the table and are awesome to play with.

That is a challenging set of goals, and even when there might have been some minor disappointments (Slam&Bomb ), I think FFG has earned a high grade.

And if we count with the Raider and the Force Awakens Core set as belonging to this wave's cycle, then we need to add:

- Fixing the TIE Advanced (Maarek loves Advanced Homing Missile from Wave 7 also).

- Lambda shuttles on the tables!

- X-Wings on the tables, in T65 (with BB8) form or T70 (Poe, Red Veteran) form.

Wow I love that galaxy mat in the 3rd pic, the one with the IG-2000 painted in German WWII navel cameo.

Also lol at the two Tie bombers crashing into each other.

As someone who decried pwt when c3p0 was first previewed. I can honestly say after 3 waves and multiple rules errata ffg has finally fixed the biggest screw up this game ever had. The game is better and more balanced since they mostly fixed the pwt shenanigans. ( I still think at some point they will need to change the mov rules to include small based ships but they have addressed the problem with broken pwt ships).

I still think this is the best wave of the game!

havn't seen ol' Corran in a dog's age, but everyone else has been enjoying the lime light

got some whispers, an Echo, lots of bloody pirates, and a sprinkling of Vesseries

This wave has given my Tie Bombers a great boost and given me the K-wing.

I really thought FFG had jumped the Sarlaac with the K-wing, but it's has become my favourite Rebel ship to use. A lot of fun to use as either a dedicated bomber or as a TLT escort gunship.

and then I had to play against him, and he just started showing off
