This has been working well for me against swarms:

Kavil + Predator + Twin Laser Turret + Unhinged Astromech + Engine Upgrade

Emon or Kath + Proton Bombs + Extra Munitions + Slave I + Engine Upgrade + (season to taste: Gunner, Glitterstim, add cannon, add bombs to Kavil, etc.)

it has been a lovely, varied environment for mini-swarms

people tend to want to kill the tempest first (i dont know why) because of constant damage and blocking threat i guess? but with Vader and whisper both moving at 9 and with the good chance of getting Init with a 98 point build Whisper is free to do what she/he does with it all.

Rebel captive to Dissuade people from targeting her/him first. having whisper as my last ship many a times i can say "Good luck" with a clear board for Phantom Shenanigans i can say with a smile on my face. SOONTIR FEL AIN'T GOT SH*T ON ME.

for real though. with rebel captive to make it so either Fel goes in to combat with NO stress and focus, OR into combat with stress and focus, and receiving a second stress shutting him down the following combat. its truly a win-win.

Won another 2 games with it tonight, infact this list is bringing a tear to my eye just thinking about it. Its just so perfect, it has Vader AND Palpatine in it!!! The Damage output is incredible.

no worries, I got someone else who can actually paint to distinguish my Xizor from all other vipers

only problem is, no one else in my meta runs Xizor (the fools)

Kath's Cross:

Kath+Predator+(Crew of Choice)+ID

2x Black Sun Enforcers+Autothrusters

Start a Startviper on either side of Kath. Because of their 3 banks, turns, and S-loops, you can end up in some very unexpected places. The Starvipers are great blockers, if need be, and will easily force the action (thanks to their amazing dial) where you want it to be. Meanwhile, Kath will be throwing 4 or 5 red dice regularly. It's evil and VERY fun to fly!

the man does very good work

all I gave him to work on was "black with a red cockpit, and red lines around the wings to simulate a bullseye"

and then he added gold (befitting a prince) to enhance the "Shoot Xizor, plz!" effect
