Triple K looks like the real TLT menace. I caught a couple games of him testing in vassal(props to Doc Paul for posting some of those recaps) and was hoping to see it here.

In retrospect, Kari should have flown right into the teeth of that list and used his y-wings and a Corran double tap to go all out on dropping one of the k-wings turn 1.

Going 6-0 (Which means increasingly tougher matchups, not just 'lucky pairings') with triple-K-wings should be more than enough to prove their worth.

Some days we get too excited about efficiency and/or aces. I'd love to see that list later.

I really like the Miranda/Warden/Warden build with three TLTs and three Tacticians. That just seems brutally efficient. I love me some K-Wing though.

it's not really "Efficient" per say

in terms of statline to cost, Ks are absolute garbage and Ys are strictly superior

but then you put them in the hands of a good player, especially one confident enough to run Tacticians with that dial, and oh god they can do so much with SLAM re-positioning distinguishing them from Ys (apart from the crew slot, ofc)

and then there's Miranda. Miranda will just carry your ass to victory.

8 games with not very long breaks in between (except for the one hour break) and the fact that people catch up with friends that are actually there....I'd give them a break on the depth of coverage. Besides, with such a large and diverse field it's probably hard to keep track of what's going on in terms of standings...

TLT ruins it for me frankly. Love the rest. But when I just sit and watch my opponent roll dice and negate the need for me to even bother, I consider that anti-interactive and un-fun. Or when I do it to him for that matter. Range, damage output, weakness, AT counter, all there, don't care doesn't matter; you take the tension and suspense out of the game when you remove dice in a dice game. (Hence why every time someone starts a 'diceless rules' thread every one points out why it's bad design for the feel of the game play) I hate playing them, I hate playing against them. But since they're here, and they're way too good, I have to use them or at least counter them, or at worse both. Personal opinion. Everything else stupidly I love the hell out of. Funky, I know, I'm weird and vocal and have an opinion on the internet, how terrible of me. I apologize for the rant, but I'm not sorry about it.

Okay, like... I would not be happy about 3TLT Kwings/Miranda getting the spotlight. I hate Miranda. More PWT annoying crap. Even dash had a doughnut hole. K's DONT. They get 3 dice at every range, and miranda gets 4 and crazy stuff.

AND no MOV fix for large ships. Ugh!!!!

Nathan's Talon Roll in Round 8 was pretty awesome. But most of the time I couldn't quite figure out what he was doing with his ships. It reminded me of that whole "drunken fist" technique (and hothie's "drunken shark"). He was definitely hard for me to predict, and it ended up netting him an important victory, so I guess it worked for him.
