Probably used Pie (as a bribe) or Poe

T-70s and especially Poe seem MADE for anti-tlt. It's not so much the thrusters as the high PS + dial + 3 reds + boost.

Poe exacerbates things with his ability + thrusters basically requiring 3 hits or bust. With boost to control range, landing tacticians can be difficult and Paul had the vi to account for Miri

While I really love these list discussions, I think we as players should put more emphasis on how the players *fly* them. I really wish we could have seen the Paul vs Aaron last game yesterday, REALLY curious what exactly he did to take down that 3K list! It looked near-unbeatable in the round before when it was broadcast.

I believe he shot it with Poe.

I know MJ is going to work on getting the lists this morning but maybe we can crowd source some of the info before then. So let's see if we can consolidate some info and get some more of the top 16 lists:

Missing a few lists still!

I played ahainst a kid that was running a classic pred han with luke in an older tournament, and I had to keep reminding him that you cant pred after a han reroll. I also had to remindchim about luke repeatedly.

It was a later game that I found out about the pred before han +gunner trick. The kid had been playing a netlist, but didnt understand it.

Did anyone see this? Aaron flew his list REALLY well the round before, staggering his ships in a way that one of the K-Wings should have had a range 2 on the most damaging ship. Maybe the triple tap Y-Wing helped take down a base K? During the twitch they were sort of updating us, I heard each pilot was down a ship, then the next update both pilots had 1 ship left, and Paul's was Poe.

Top 16, Schmop 16. I want to know what Sable Gryphon's list was.

I think the 3K list is beatable when you fly straight at it. Don't start circling or your dead. The tacticians make you think about avoiding front arcs but K-wings are still very poor at jousting. BTL Y-wings wanna head right into the teeth of that list, chew it up, and spit it out. Sure you'll end up with some stress but K-wings can't K-turn either. Joust it it to death. Even if you take a few extra turns to clear stress before heading straight at it again.

Tricksy bit is target priority with Miranda. If you can't kill her dead, don't shoot at her. But if you leave her till the end? You better have some guns left.

Paul's list is just a Swiss Army knife though. Stress-bot, title, Y is a jouster and a stress nightmare. TLT non-title Y is steady damage in 360 degrees. Poe is an Ace-Hunter with regen, a late-game monster. And that lone Bandito is the MVP that get forgotten about until it ends up with the game sealing block or the last bit of damage to finish off a ship.

I suspect Miranda got locked down by the stresshog. And he lost his second K-wing before they could whittle at Poe's hull. So, when it was just one left vs Poe, he just couldn't keep up in the damage race.

I was looking for it as well.

I think K^3 doesn't joust even if you want to. They'll turn away or fly right past your arcs if you try it. It doesn't want to joust, it wants to deal that stress from behind you or flanking, not into your face.

K^3? No. Danger Zone is the name.

If you're chasing it, it's just 3 TLTs. The tacticians don't come into play, it's just three ships that are lousy at trading damage.

But if you fly at them and force them to turn or fly right past, they can't stress you. My point is don't try fancy flying. Make them try to fancy fly around you... in a K-wing. SLAM means no shooting.

I think Corran would have head better luck just aiming right down the barrel of one of the Warden's, take the stress if necessary and gut it. You want to fly in straight lines and let the K-wings go all swoopy.

how is miranda supposed to get tactician front arc??

also yeah, hope someone shows the Starviper lists.

I playtested it, takes setup and patience, you only need to have it happen once to be devastating. I was worried about how she goes down to focus fire, but I was running Roark with tlt and tac, so hard but so fun

Surprised a Brobot list got too 16, kinda required 88A to help with MoV. Lots of Imp Aces in there though, so I dunno how Brobots will end up.

Jeremy Howard just beat Brad Miller 100-32

CARNOR MADE HIS K-TURN!!!

Jeremy Howard just beat Brad Miller 100-32

Any word on Jeremy's list? My apologies if it's buried somewhere in this thread and I just didn't see it.

Carnor is triple stressed and Vader is down to 1 hp in Paul's game. The Palpmobile list crushed The RAC-Fel list.
