With 10 points down the whole goal is to go first. Using that you can use the MC30 to the fullest. I would love more squadrons but activations were needed. I could have swapped out the CR90 A for a B but I wanted to use Akbar more often with it.

Thoughts?

I think I'd like a 3rd AFMk2B more so than the MC-30. It just seems to be a lot of points in something that I would expect to lose.

Today I ran Ackbar with theee AFMk2Bs and a CC-A w/ 2 x Bwing and 2 x Ywing. That 3rd big ship for me has to have gunnery teams also! I'm seeing the CC-A with Leia as a possible counter to tractor beams to help keep the conga line on track.

The game was a big win, but my opponent is still new to Armada so can't say it was a deffinitive test. But I can say that I really liked how the fleet handled!

Oh, I ran 3 Assault Frigates with Akbar and it's fine but the MC30 brings something I was missing.

With 3 Assault Frigates, I am 100% reactive and can't easily take the offense to my opponents. With the MC30, I have a tactical option to jump in front of a gunline with the speed to do so and reasonably survive.

I think I can understand the reasoning for this fleet. Will try something similar.

On a general note, having almost everything already must lessen the pain of waiting for wave 2 considerably.
