Today at work one of the calls i went on was to investigate the sound of moans in the nearby woods.
I also got to toss candy out of the ambulance at trickortreaters. This is an awesome day to work!
I don't get this Halloween thing... I'm definately a Stranger in a Strange Land today...
... I figured with my Curtains Drawn, Lights (both internal and external) off, and no signs of life at home, I'd be undisturbed... But Noooooo...
Man, where do you live? I have to decorate my yard, turn on all the lights, and dress up to get the kids to come get candy from me! Last year I didn't decorate and they just walked right past my house... We still had Halloween candy left over at Easter.
Favorite Halloween bit this year for me, attending my daughter's Halloween costume parade, and watching the third grade class perform the Thriller dance number. You've never seen Thriller performed correctly until it features Darth Vader and two Stormtroopers.
Edited by coastcityoDespite living in town, we only had 6 trick or treaters. My night was made by a little kid. I had a huge bag of candy, and I told the kid go ahead and take as much as he wanted. This photo pretty much sums his reaction as he threw his fist into the bag with all his might...

Listening to this song on repeat is roughly 90% of my celebration of Halloween...
