So played a buddy today and he had the follwoing list. it worked really well against palp, vader, Fel. Thoughts?

Jake+VI+Title+refit+PTL

Poe+r5p9+AT+VI

Kyle Katarn+crackshot+TLT+chewy+moldy Crow

So basically, he would bank the foci with kyle. He would focus or boost with Poe. With Jake he would focus boost or barrel roll. then at start of combat pass a focus to Kyle or...pass it to Jake...who would then boost or barrel roll again and then PTL off of it. I didnt realize that when i first approached him and had three angles of jake. he got to do his shenanigans after all movement and get out of arc and shoot at range one. i quickly realized kyle was the fulcrum of his list and went after him. by then (after a blank out on offense and defense with soontir) it was essentially too late.

heres the conundrum: if you go after jake youre going to have a tough go at it because of the synergy with kyle. if you go after kyle he isnt necesarily quickly killed due to amount of banked foci and chewy. even if you do kill him (probably after 3 rounds) you then are left with a ship or two either dead or close to it and Poe as a fninisher

I can do one better. Take Kyle, Cracken and Jake. Jake takes an evade action for his action. Kyle gives him a focus, then he boosts or barrel rolls. Cracken gives him a free action, Jake takes a focus action, then boosts or barrel rolls, then pushes the limit for a target lock.

Jake gets an evade, 2 focus, a boost, a barrel roll and a target lock. Effectively 6 actions

(There are also other ways to do this, like Garven, or squad leader)

Edit: for even more actions make his second ept an action (eg expose) and give Cracken squad leader so that Jake can then have effectively 7 actions

Yeah there is no point other than 6 actions. But pulling off a move like that is hilarious fun and seeing the look on your opponents face as they don't quite believe what you're doing is priceless.

Lando moves green, gives an action to Jake who PtL off of it, getting a stress which nets him a focus token. Jan intercepts that token and turns it into an evade.

Jake moves green, clearing his stress, giving him his third action which allows him to focus, giving him his fourth action.

Kyle passes Jake a focus.

Fragile as all get out and not that effective.
