give a hand to a poor guy! I have been playing since the beginning, and i have all of the expansions. But i never was really good at deck-building.

I am really thrilled of the Tactics Boromir & Spirit Merry combo. But who do you think is the best third guy?

At first i thought about Gandalf, then about Elrond but by the time i use my beloved Legolas. His progress tokens are really valuable to the team, especially when i can give him some unexpected courage!

I have to add that the one of my friends plays with mono-sphere lore deck and the other one with spirit-leadership. I cannot say that we have a low questing capability, but revealing three cards can be really, really, but really, unpredictable some times.

This deck uses Boromir and Merry plus Galadriel (although I just switched Merry out for Glorfindel. The idea is to use the Mirror + Silver Harp to fetch key attachments on Boromir and make him a beast. Even though the deck does work better with Glorfindel, Merry is also a great hero in the deck as his threat reducing ability often comes in handy.

I'd say either Galadriel or lore Pippin. They both get you great card draw that can set up Boromir quickly. With the proper attachments it becomes a deck that can handle pretty much anything.
