Coming into the final week! The top four playoff spots are heavily contested. Blair can clinch the regular season victory with a win over Hothie, and Paul can make the playoffs with a win as well. Commentary : Can we talk about Oicunn for a quick second. That’s not a bad counter for the Ace Meta we see currently. Specifically the Ion version we see here. The Question is can he get to 1v1 with his Vader? I’m hoping he can for fun’s sake. sozin: Very creative Decimator build from Kinetic here. Oicunn is a hard turnin’, stress dealin’, rammin’, ion slammin’ machine! An excellent test for Morgan’s Darth Cowboy.

Commentary : Crackshot swarm has some tools for this, hyper accurate and taking an evade can punch through one of these aces. The issue I run into is how it will deal with ALL of the aces. It will take some serious blocking along with some lucky rolls. I want to believe because I want swarms to do well, but I don’t think I see this happening this week.

Commentary : I hear an echo. Is triple Ace popular this week or what? Interesting to see the double FO support. I kinda like it. They’re gonna make for some interesting blockers with that 2 sloop. The question is how good at blocking will they be as that’ll need to go a long way to beat the initiative bid.

Commentary : Good Ole Tie Swarm. Clearly Hothie has an edge in Ace ships. He has a highly aggressive Carnor that will be attempting to disable Vader. That being said Blair can get the Emperor in a turn and might be able to corner Carnor as he won’t have the Standard Boost/Barrel Roll. I think that a mistake free game from Blair wins. Commentary : This is the first game I feel very confident about in a while. I shouldn't. Pheaver has a really nice all comers list. There is some control, some area damage, and some nice attack 3 damage. I bring a similar list but my control is more based on my ship positioning with my A wings. I’m not sure if R2 with the Bandit is better than R5. In the end I happen to think A wings are awesome so I’ll roll with them.

Commentary : Hmmmm… 3 shots on Eaden for a kill. but I can see Dash just winning the game by himself. Dash is still VERY good and is an underserved ship in the meta. If you don’t think you’ll see a lot of TLT at worlds take a long look at him. Eaden too if you think Aces will be around. sozin: S&V represent! I love the Mandalorian Merc and wish I had the cajones to play him more regularly.

I've said this before. Please I would like to request you don't post who won at the top of the thread. Put it at the bottom. I would love to watch all the reports without knowing who won. By posting the scores, I really don't feel like watching the log, because I know the outcome.

I actually think a list like SideSlip's would go a long way at Worlds since it is built to murder other aces. I'd be tempted to drop the Mk2 engine which only really help after K-turns (which an aggressive Jax can pull off quite well I might add), but realistically he has plenty of green already. I would probably also switch Vader to VI instead of Crackshot just to make sure he goes last (well it is a coin flip versus other VI Vaders at 99 points). Always going after the millions of Fels at the event will help a lot I suspect. I love Crack Shot Vader but realistically positioning is probably more important.

The big question is can Kelvan dig himself out of a hole and survive relegation? What is the second tiebreaker? With a white wash he could...

Paul Davis does youtube videos of the log file with his commentary. He's an extremely good player and he casts a lot of the TC Aces league, so keep an eye out ther e.
