^I think you're underestimating the principle of not buying TFA products until and unless it's proven to be worthy of the mantle.

Whether or not you'll like the movie has no bearing on the fact that it's part of X-wing now, and will have more and more influence on the game. If you don't want to get with that, its your prerogative, but you should expect to be behind the curve from this point forward. Please don't get upset with FFG every time you're reminded of that.

So, the new deck is much more punishing and leaves you at a disadvantage. How can you expect anyone to play with the new one if the old one makes it easier for everyone? Do you honestly expect that people will play with new deck anyway, even if it deals much worse crits to them? This is ridiculous. If it's competitive play (tournament or not), it should be expected for everyone to agree on one. What will be next, ignoring the FAQ and playing Whisper like in the times when it was THE list to fly? Come on, the new deck came out for a reason and the changes were intentional. Why would FFG even print it if they knew noone would use it as it's just more crippling?

Maybe if we complain hard enough, they'll make us use the New Damage deck again
