So tonight I GM'ed my first ever game and it went really well. We used roll 20 so I was able to set the scene nicely using music for atmosphere and for the most part, the plan went smoothly. As expected my players did get side tracked and I was inwardly laughing (having been told to expect this) as I resisted the urge to yell out 'Just head to the **** mansion already!' :
Spending a few weeks in advance fleshing out the campaign and coming up with other locations and encounters has really helped.
Anyway, after spending a lot of time exploring the sights and sounds of the upper hive, they eventually got to the Guljian mansion. The session ended like this:
They are currently heading back under the cover of darkness to their lodgings, carrying Lans' bodyguard (who they drugged up massively) with them. I think I'm going to enjoy the rest of this campaign
