The 20th or 27th sound correct to me however nothing is off the boat so I would not have much faith in that date.

I don't know what you guys are so anxious about. If you didn't do well enough at Sullust to win yourself some ships, maybe you don't deserve to have them.

In the meantime, I'm packing up my two ISDs and Raider and I'm going to crush me some Rebellion (Lyraeus) tomorrow.

Really? What an obnoxious thing to say.

If you wanted to tell everyone you won stuff at Sullust you can do it without insulting everyone else. Only thing I don't have 1 of right now is MC80 but if your concern for the health of the game only encompasses what you yourself have you aren't really about the community.

Yeah, I'm anxious for wave 2, but not because I wan't to buy such and such a thing but because the total lack of regard for the Armada community from FFG is troubling to me, I have to ask myself if I want to continue devoting time and money to a game that doesn't seem to have the same level of support and concern as it could. Will there be anyone playing this in a year? Are they truly investing in growing the player base?

After watching the only game of Armada streamed from worlds my heart sank. They picked lists guaranteed to be a yawnfest, every non Armada player on the stream was NOT impressed and I could hardly blame them. Not a single ship destroyed and a slow paced game bogged down by 7 CR90 activations *facepalm*. I'm not saying they aren't viable lists, just that they were probably the worst to pick to showcase the game!

I certainly could have done it without insulting everyone else.

But, I'm recruiting for the Dark Side, and being evil is a requirement. (See the image above) :P

No, being right is a requirement. The dark side is about doing what is needed to restore order to the galaxy

If I didn't know better I'd say Christian T. Petersen is the new Emperor.

This is perfect marketing. Make people want something so bad that it hurts.

And now Star Wars Rebellion. Man I was already giving FFG my pay cheques even before their Star Wars stuff.

They should make a commercial with Christian in Emperors robes waiving his hand saying "You will by these games"

Wow. . . Mikael Hasselstein channeled DrunkTarkin. . .

If I didn't know that Mikael was being satirical and trolling on purpose I'd block his comments on this side. Yet seeing as hes being a LARGE derriere ironically, I shell let this pass. It is not about Denying the emotion, it is about understanding where it comes from, accepting it, letting it pass so that it has no power over you.

Emotion, yet peace.

Ignorance, yet knowledge.

Passion, yet serenity.

Chaos, yet harmony.

Death, yet the Force.

Oops. You're right. I let my facade slip for a moment. Let me see if I can truthify this:

There are those who have proven their loyalty to the Emperor by internalizing the doctrines (and buying all the stuff) that lead to success. Then, there are those who must suffer so that the exalted can enjoy their privileged station. FFG helps us see the tiered order of the universe, in which everyone should know their place. Only by everyone knowing their place can we have that galactic order which provides stability to us all.

Listen, fishface, there is a Core and an Outer Rim. That your planet exists on the very edge of civilization is not the fault of the Core. In fact, we - the Empire - do what we can to impose bring the light of galactic civilization to the dark reaches of your part of the galaxy. You should be grateful and not begrudge the fact that we have all that plenty that we deserve.

Ummm..... Hate to break this to you, but, the Emperors third most loyal servant, was only referring to the fact that a body with a high angular momentum is more stable. Better able to resist being toppled by outside, or "alien" forces. I believe the uneducated would refer to AM as "spin". As Mikael tries to be a man of the people, he endeavors to use language they can understand. Sometimes his efforts can be twisted by those of a less virtuous nature.

;)

How sad that the Rebellion alters my text to accuse me of things.

Because I could only make it to one Sullust event, so could only win one ship, and I WANT THEM ALL,!!

Mikael, if you really were a loyal servant of the Empire, you would send me one of those ISDs to help me crush these rebels in the Hirschau system.... ;)

You will carry out your duty with the Victory SDs the Imperial Requisition Department has allotted you.

Failure to do so will result in being reassigned to a "comfortable" position on Kessel.

I have yet to take command of an Imperial class Star Destroyer.

But I have faced them in training/recruiting exercises.

I've been told how well they handle. How luxurious the admirals stateroom is. What a wonder the layout of the bridge is.That the new tractor beam practically has the Rebels catching themselves. How well the new shields repel even the heaviest enemy fire.

Bitter, why would you ask that?

They still have that new battleship smell, too! Floors so clean you can eat off of them. Gonk droids for miles. OSHA-defying sheer falls into nothingness with no safety rails, just like we like them. That's not even mentioning how nice the bathrooms are. They really need to be seen to be believed.

The IRD has first hand, definitely confirmed that the ISDs are at their waiting stations. Once Imperial command releases them they will spread through the core worlds quickly.

The rebel scum will soon find that the Empire has a new anvil to beat our war hammers upon.
