Went to my local LGS today in Montreal and when I asked about wave II, the owner told me he just received news from his supplier that the street date is 11/20/2015. Meaning he will probably have it sometime during that week.

I believe his date because so far his been spot on regarding release dates for X-Wing, IA and other games in general.

yes, it's the same week so in the US, you may get it earlier that week

By then Battlefront 3 will be out so interest in Armada will go down.

Makes sense. I would guess they would try to have some available for purchase at worlds, with the larger release within the next couple of weeks after that.

Just got all of my Core and Wave 1... like today, so I can wait until next month to get Wave 2.

General reminder: there is no "release date" for FFG products. Once shipped to retailers they are available for sale immediately. Unless there is an outside contact to be followed such as the Force Friday X-Wing set.

I'd beg to differ on a technicality. There is a release date upon which they are legal for tournament use. However, that release date is set when FFG sees that the products are in stores, even if some stores will put them out sooner than others because of logistics. I'll agree that there's no pre-determined release date.

That means those of us who don't have to worry about Canadian customs will probably see it earlier in the week of the 16th. 3 weeks to go!

I was waiting to get all good with my X-Wing, and now that we have a few weeks before anything new is coming out, and also since the ISD's and other cool Wave II goodies are coming, I jumped in finally.

... and what great timing too.

I saved enough this month to pay for my pair of ISD's next month. I got two core sets.One last week from Mini Mart during their daily sale, and this one from Cool Stuff yesterday.

That's a hell of a stretch.

I play video games when I can't play X-Wing or Armada, not the other way round.

I completely agree. It's super frustrating. While I still like that FFG got some product in early and Massing of Sullust was a ton of fun, this wait has gotten impossibly tedious. And at this juncture in the games life span, I think its bad for the game. Not crippling or anything, because its a fine game that will stand on its merits, but wave two looks to really flesh the game out to a more completed form and I would like to play that game already.
