Thoughts on This Rebel List?

By Engine25, in Imperial Assault Skirmish

I got the game this past summer and have primarily been playing Mercs. Previous list had Boba, two pairs of Elite Trandos, and then R2 and Gideon via Temp Alliance. I've actually gotten the hang of running a list with an activation deficit, but stuns eat me alive because I'm short on figures. Just got some pocket money to grab some more blisters and wanted to try my hand at a rebel list. Thoughts?

Thoughts? In the past I've played mainly 5 activation lists, and not in the Empire, so I Gevalia take all of the mobility cards I own to alleviate the speed disadvantage. Did the same here because I still don't have any officers. Also had 2 points left over so threw in Fury of Kashyyyk. If that new Alliance Smuggler pack has a 2 point gray card, I'll replace Fury with that, assuming I like the list. Played Wookiees once and seen them played a lot. Lots of HP. Never played the Sabs before, but have been beaten by them a lot.

Gideon and C3PO will make those sabs very scary. Focus them early and try to get double blasts while people are grouped up around deployment or objectives. Also get them to blast early before your wookiees get in close so you are able to blast without collateral damage.

I actually like Counter Attack over parting blow. You wookiees will be able to survive an attack and can deal back a guaranteed 2 damage without the stun. Both require you to be adjacent so that is the only issue. Gideon's Take it down may not be bad either. The Elite sab with focus and +2 damage would be nasty.

Rebel High Command instead of Fury of Kashyyyk.

Great list! Running something similar myself. Be wary of too many Sabs, though--blast will cause problems for your Wookiees, who should be adjacent to hostile figures.

Fair point. The Wookiees can generally be blasted once with little issue, though. Also, the Elite Saboteurs can target enemies that are blocked, so you can often target someone further away in a cluster.

Ya I like this list and was thinking of running virtually the same thing. I hate running rebs without Luke cause his reroll is massive but this list seems fun.

Let us know how you like it, once you've run it a couple times!
