I misread.

I don't have Heirs of Blood, so I can't really help you, but I really doubt that there are even 25 tiles at all in that quest. Could you add some more info?

I have one question regarding this quest:

in encounter 2 it says, that the OL can summon kadlasar to any tile at the start of his turn, if the dragon isnt on the map. It proceeds that if the kadlasar is on the map at the start of his turn while his lair wasnt revealed yet, kadlasar will vanish again.

Im sure in the rulebook it somewhere states out, that if there are multiple things happening the same time, the player which takes his turn may decide what to do first....so my question :

can the OL decide to always put kadlasar first off the map and then place him afterwards on any empty map tile again?...so in other words...the OL can have kadlasar attack every turn at least once and wherever he wants? (if there is sufficient space for this large monster of course)

and mayybe another question : i know that the knight can use "defend"-skill to guard one hero against breath of fire even if he is already a target itself.
But following scenario : if breath of fire hits the knight and 2 heroes adjacent to the knight...can the knight use for both of them his defend skill to eat all 3 attacks? ....and if yes: is this also still legit even if the knight already dies after the first or after the second attack?

a 3rd question came to my mind...since the OL is required to kill every hero at least once...is it legit for the heroes to hide one in the secret passage, if it was drawn in encounter 2? (we are playing with the trollfens expansion)

thanks in advance ! :)

hmm i just read that there is a difference in reagrds of "target of an attack" and "affected by an attack"

so in my conclusion: a knight isnt allowed at all to defend other heroes from breath of fire ability?

The knight cannot defend against firebreath because the other heroes are not targets, correct.

Are there any suggestions about the Kadlasar question i had?

So far im not sure...though our current Overlord thinks, that it is meant this way :

If Kadlasar is on the map -> take him off
If K. is not on the map -> place him on any valid tiles

i mean...as a hero at the moment im quite fine with Kadlasar only able to attack "only" every two turns...especially since OL has the Tristayne Olliven plot deck -> veeery high burst dmg ...and with additional surge a guranteed fire breath....quite hard to be honest

had to force our necro to take the skill, which allows him to give all dmg to his zombie and other way round + rune armor....well...he got mad with me though ^^

and suggested that we have to buy stone plate armor with 2 addidtional black def dice for our Augur Grisom Bard (lucky it was there!!)....should give us quite a good defence..even without knight able to drain all the fire breath dmg....still...the rule about kadlasar may significantly decide the outcome

A) At the start of each OL turn that Kad is not on the map, place him in a space.

B) If Kad is on the map at the start of OL turn but lair is not exposed, remove him.

C) If Kad is on the map and the lair is exposed, leave him where he is.

These are intended to be mutually exclusive cases. Either the turn starts and he is there and you do B (unless lair has been revealed, and you do C) or he is not there and you do A. You never do both A and B.

Although you COULD read the rules as "I did A, now the trigger for B is met" the problem is you'd get stuck in a loop where Kad is appearing and reappearing an arbitrary number of times.
