Hi folks

Has anyone painted any of their tie squadrons in First Order livery yet? I'm trying to figure out the colours.

The main colour looks more like a Gunmetal than the light Grey of the standard Ties. Also I can't tell if the panels are off-white or more of a very light or silver-grey. Pretty sure the red accent is a crimson.

And do you guys think First Order Ties will be an idea for Wave 3 squadrons and I should just park my brush and wait. (Although I've done 12 standard Tie squads already so probly no harm in doing whatever with the 4 xtra squads I have)

Pretty sure they are just completely black with the white on the panels. However the most recent trailer seems to indicate there is some red on it? Its possible not even FFG was given full paint scheme info and they had to improvise. Then again, looking closely at the trailer, the red part appears to be coming out of the breached cockpit.

It's possible that the red is for special forces pilots.

What we can see of the new First Order TIE Fghters in the new trailers and in the released merchandise indicates that the color is dark grey with white panels, which may be slightly reflective. Special Forces have a red design on the cockpit housing, but the wing panels are not decorated.

After staring at the pics that google comes up with again I think main body colour is more of a Black-Grey.

And the red isnt standard you say? Just on special forces?
