Hypothetical: Omega leader and Darth Vader are gong head to hed, and DV has a TL and Evade token.

Can Advanced Targeting Computer add a crit result to Vader's roll against Omega Leader, or is that considered Modifying the Results?

Can Darth Vader spend an evade token to add an evade result, or is that Modifying the Results?

According to the new rules reference, the answer seems to be no to both.

Modifying Dice is broken up into Add, Change or Reroll. That first one locks out the ATC and the Evade token from doing anything against Omega Leader.

Can I get a page number? This feels like something I'm going to need to show my opponent and/or judge if I actually use it in a tournament.

Basically when you roll the dice, you are generating "results". Anything you do to change those results or the quantity of those results, is "modifying".

to add a die result, place an unused die displaying the result next to the rolled dice. a die added in this way is treated as a normal die for all purposes and can be modified and canceled.

Not sure the new FAQ agrees with your interpretation. The wording on page 13 of the original rule book don't appear in the force awakens rule reference.
