Its hard to fly but It can get the job done. :)

Emon Azzameen (45)

Proximity Mines (3), Andrasta (0), Proximity Mines (3), Proximity Mines (3)

Drea Renthal (31)

Twin Laser Turret (6), R4-B11 (3)

You're a higher ps, thanks I know where to drop my bombs.

Drea does her thing, you rolled al evades, how bout you re roll those. Stress to the max

Add 24 points of flavour.

Or you could always ezchange the Prox mines for Connor nets.

Or to save points go with the slave 1 title and extra munitions.

I'd try something like this...

It really needs like 4 more points for Engine, but ....

Talonbane Cobra + VI (or maybe crack shot) + Feedback Array
Palob Godalhi + Decoy+ TLT + Feedback Array
Binayre Pirate + Feedback Array
N'dru + Cluster + LW + Glitterstim.

You have 3 ships that say - don't come into Range 1 with the Aces. Palob can steal focus from fel, and decoy to fire at P.S. 11 (night night whisper) - and it also says, get out of my range 1-2 zone. Talonbane moves after and fires before Fel as well. N'dru can do a ton of damage to the shuttle - and if the aces go after N'dru , you can close in the talonbane palob box on an ace. Palob can also swap P.S. with the p.s. 1 binayre to get a final shot in - should the shuttle have a kill shot on him.

I've had great success against Palpmobile +2 aces with the following build:

YV-666: · Bossk (35)

Veteran Instincts (1)

"Mangler" Cannon (4)

Engine Upgrade (4)

K4 Security Droid (3)

Tactician (2)

Outlaw Tech (2)

Firespray-31: · Boba Fett (39)

Veteran Instincts (1)

Engine Upgrade (4)

Tactician (2)

Glitterstim (2)

At 99 points, you have a chance to pass initiative to your opponent, allowing Bossk to move after Soontir bounces everywhere, and any other PS9 aces (Whisper or Vader).

Is it worth it to spend points on generic krhhhrxcatbannana ships?

Absolutely. In fact 5xMarauder is a tournament-level list.

I recently beat The Palp team with this list:

Trandoshan Slaver x2

Cartel Marauder x2

Inertial Dampeners

I call it Fat Amateurs. it has 34 hits to chew through and can dish out 12 dice. With 2 big bases and everybody being ps2 it excels at parking in the way and denying aces their actions.

I don't think this is a meta changing list, but it was a lot of fun to play.

7x Z95 with Feedback Array. Hard to loose with that one versus aces.

Why was this not the first response?

Because it requires you to buy four IG-2000 expansions to play, making it currently one of the most expensive lists you can run.

4 Aggressors? You mean the Scum Huge ship(s)?

The Large ship, yeah. It's the only way to get Feedback Array right now, and two copies come with each expansion. So to outfit seven Headhunters with Feedback Array, you either have to proxy (which won't work in tournament play) or buy four of a ship which, in ordinary tournament play, can only be fielded in pairs.

I made sure to trade for enough of those cards ASAP.

You also need like 2, maybe 3 Most Wanted boxes for the proper amount of scum Z-95 ship tokens and pilot cards. You have 2 spare points so you can skimp and only fly 5 Bananas and go for 3 Black suns. Not sure if you can do that with 2 most wanted boxes.

Get Boba Fett with K4 Security Droid, Slave 1, Extra Munitions, and Cluster Missiles. Proceed to murder the ever loving crap out of the Palpmobile.

Throw VI and EU on there for good measure, if you have the points.

How about this:

Cartel Marauder (20) x2
Syndicate Thug (18) x2
Twin Laser Turret (6)
Binayre Pirate (12)
Total: 100
I really want to try this list. Going to take some flying but I like the combo. Not a straight counter to the palpmobile list but has a chance against it. I think it's a pretty solid swiss army knife.

You also have to buy 4 Most Wanted to get the cardboard for the 7 Pirates. No double-dipping on Rebel Headhunters for this list. Wait, you could upgrade two to Black Sun Soldiers, so 3 Most Wanted is sufficient if you have 2 Rebel Headhunters.

Said in the other thread, but I like Sable's "Murder of Crows" list in this situation. Five Black Sun Soldiers with Feedback Arrays, plus Torkil Mux, Greedo and an Ion Cannon Turret. You have lots of attackers, mitigating Palpatine's usefulness. Mux messes up with the shooting order of aces. Feedback Arrays are a dice-independent attack, so Palpatine also has no use there.

As an added bonus, it also has a good shot against many other popular things in the meta today.

I've been running a variant of this (TLT on Mux instead of Ion and Greedo) and it shreds Fel/Vader/Palpatine lists. As long a you can cast a wide net of Headhunters around Fel, he can't avoid them all.

Boom. The solution is two HWK's:

Torkhil Mux (32)

HWK-290 (19), Twin Laser Turret (6), Recon Specialist (3), Shield Upgrade (4)

Palob Godalhi (33)
HWK-290 (20), Twin Laser Turret (6), Recon Specialist (3), Shield Upgrade (4)

Kavil (34)
Y-Wing (24), Bomb Loadout (0), Ion Cannon Turret (5), Predator (3), Seismic Charges (2)

Soontir/Vader/Whisper/whoever tries to burst the bubble? Get's knocked down to PS0, gets a token stripped, and gets blasted with an ion cannon (then the next turn has to use his boost and focus to dodge the Seismic Charge only to get blasted with TLT's).

Soontir/Vader/Whisper/whoever tries to play it safe out at range three? HWK's with three green dice, two focuses, and TLT's make his life a living hell.

I think he literally (figuratively) meant the Scum Huge ship - since Scum doesn't have a Huge ship running four Aggressors is an option in epic.

4 most wanted and 4 IG's hasn't everyone got this by now? :D

When I play that list in a tournament I just lend 3 FBA's and 3 cardboards/pilots cards. But seriously, I really think it's the most stable list to play versus aces. So hard for them to dodge all those R1 bubbles.

3 times Hired Gun, Bomb Loadout, TLT, R4, Proton Bomb

I flew a similar list in a tournament a couple weeks ago and got 2nd place, my only loss was to Fel/Vader/Palpmobile, but it was very close and went to time. I had Vader & the shuttle down to 1-2 hull each when we ended.

The list was:

1x Cartel Marauder

2x Syndicate Thugs + TLT, R4 Agromech

2x Binayre Pirate + Feedback Array

I think the feedback Zs are best in numbers, so 1 or 2 isn't really worth it because you'll usually loose 1 in the first engagement, and then you wont be so willing to use the feedback. With 3-4 you can sacrifice 1 to the initial zerg and still be effective blocking & zapping.

Don't forget the 4 Most Wanted packs you need for the Pirate cards...3 if you have 3 Rebel Zs I believe.
