I mean, Can I find someone or someplace to buy single minis for Warhammer without to have buying the entire regiments? Painted or not.
Where to buy miniatures for the game?
the modhiem minis are still made and work great for this game : )
and what are exactly modhiem miniatures?

Mordheim is a skirimish/warband miniature game made by Games Workshop. The game is not supported anymore, but they do make more minis of their own molds and sell it off their website.
I'd recommend getting an Empire Free Company box. It's the same miniatures used in Mordheim just repackaged. They're plastic and very diverse. Basically excellent for making all kinds of different PC's and NPC's with different equipment and weapons.

Good advice about the Mordheim miniatures.
I have a lot of them already but, as I'll visit Essen Convention this week, I'll try to buy some more.

addiction is a great thing lol
hmmm... but what I really wanted is someplace to buy warhammer minis without buy entire regiments. Example: 1 dark elf corsair, 2 White Lions, 1 Dwarf warrior, etc. Just for some NPCs and the main characters for my campaign.
The single models work fine, but they are pretty expensive. Generally they go for $15 US. You can always try secondary retailers like the Warstore which will give you a %20 discount. Also, you might try looking for Bits Stores where you can pick up the individual pieces cuts from the sprue. You could probably pick up a full miniature depending on set for under 3 bucks.
Much better to buy a plastic box or convert. A good number of the new plastics are only $22 US, and you get 10 figures in there. Pretty good price.
Well, As far as Minis go, the price of GW figures tends to increase as the number purchased goes down. Core units are the cheapest way to go through GW . I use them for faceless masses. Lords & Heros, ect. Could work for "Characters" but they are pretty **** costly.
Mordhiem has the advantage of the mins being more unique then the 1 to 3 generic poses in the core sets. Same is true of the Lord & Heros", ect.
Really, probably your best bet for "PC" and important "NPC" figures is finding a "Proxy figure", produced by one of the many alternate companys out there, that fits your wants/needs and to mix and match to your liking.
See if this places search function actually worked he might be able to find something useful in the other half a dozen threads about minis...
heh.

What we do, and I know this may be blashemy for some, is all of the players have thier own painted mini.
For the many opponents that we face we use Mage Knight Mini's. If you look around you can find boxes of them for as little as a nickle each.
The bases are a bit large, but other than that they work just fine. With a little imagination you can use many of their figs as Beastmen, Chaos Spawn, cultist, ect...

Na, its not blasphemy at all. Its just a practical and un-elitist way to have enough cheap minis (and mageknight provide sometimes really cheap minis)
Whilst I don't use minatures when roleplaying, I have in the past used blacks of duplo with labels saying things like "Unit of Clanrats" to play WFB. So as long as people are clear, it's not a problem - use anything! GW figures do have the advantage of looking better, but whatever you can afford/be bothered to do
