Yes, it is, and using those proto rules as well. I just feel it needs something more.
I really like Orrin's split idea as a crit. Also this beast needs it's own dial.

It's sad that the EU established the Nebulon-b as an imperial ship that the rebels co-oped when in this post-prequel world that frigate would be considered an Old Republic pre-CW design or even a CIS ship. I love the X-wing/TIE fighter games but reusing he Corellian Corvette and Escort Frigate for the empire to avoid having to design some possibly Raider-like ships was obviously a cost cutting move...borrowed from WEG, because it saved them having to seeing a couple of extra Imperial ships until much later.
Maybe, but the fact that the Neb B frigate is an Imperial ship has even made it into Nu-Canon, and for how the RA operates it makes a lot of sense.
Is the Nebulon-B shown as Imperial in the comics or new novels? I haven't read any of them.
Tarkin I think.
There should be a crit that splits the little space inbetween the two sections. you then have to decide which section is still operational.
Aft by default, because that's where the engines and the bridge would be. The fore section has guns but that's it.
Unless you now have two operational sections that can fire but only one that can move.
It seems mean that the frigate is vulnerable to that kind of crit though, that central spine is probably the toughest part of the entire ship, having to be structurally reinforced to avoid the ship bending in half when just trying to make a turn.

There is precedence in old canon for that being a weak spot though. and it LOOKS so fragile.
Maybe 3 section, with that section not having Damage resistance when shields get chewed through... I do feel that ships larger than corvette class should have damage resistance to offset.

Team Fortress 2 Comic.
According to the now-dubious canonical status of the Anaxes War College classification system, corvettes are ships 100-200 meters in length, while frigates are twice that. A doubling in keel length would bring a four-fold increase in mass (give or take). I think your stats and point cost should reflect that.
In a "sink the Bismarck" situation the Bismarck is just about the same strength as the pursuit until it gets wounded by that stupid fish.
