Just gives you much better movement options, like zooming through debris fields.

Other than the fact that you can only fit 2 R4 Aggros in a quad TLT list, the 3-hards discourage aggressive maneuvers in some situations and can protect your donut hole.

I do not understand having the Y wing in that squad. But then I have found ion turrets to be next to useless in any squad. For the same points as the Y you can field another B wing with tactician. Seems like just a way to work R3 A2 into the list.

Having some success with a four Dagger squadron list of late. Two with FCS for 100 points. No need to worry about an initiative bid at PS4. Taken down triple aces, fat turrets, TLT spam, Decimator ace, and Palpmobile with it but its performance is not given against these current meta lists. Its a tough fight and the luck of the dice must be with you especially with those arc dodgers. Best tactic I have learned from flying it is stick to one side of the board thereby limiting access to one flank. The Bs need to TL and focus when taking on the likes of Soontir or Corran.

In regards of OP, it's worth noting that National meta is most likely an already gone meta: even if you consider only the post-wave VII nationals, the larger part of them were played in the fresh aftermath of the new things while right now the meta is much more stabilized.

B-Wings are pretty fine right now, they might have a though much up against predator IGs (especially if IG-A is going to replace C or D in the current swarmier environment), but other than that they fare well against most threats (escluding predator vader + 3 aa advanced, which is a ficklegreen die matchup)

Even without the title, though, the fact that Stressbot has no range restriction means that working him into the list is worth whatever needs to be done to make it happen.

And the ion effect is also much more powerful when it's hitting stressed ships and setting them up to be jumped by multiple B-wings. ;-)

I've flown quad Taco Bells before. What happens is that your opponent will simply never let you get into range 2 with their super Corran and its shenanigans or whatever.

The Y-Wing is to guarantee at least 1 stress. You also don't lose much damage output and you gain a little bit of ion to synergize with the stress. Should you get a range 1-2 shot with your Y-Wing, you can also trigger the stress bot twice.

One less ship but how's this for causing stress.
