No, I haven't spent a thousand dollars. However, I just got the FA Core Set less than a month ago and I've now spent over $400... Like someone already said: best money I've ever spent.

Ugh. I just KNOW I am looking at 1k in the rearview mirror. Been in on this game since Feb 2013.

I'm in the $1300 range as far as miniature market calculates my sig ships to be.

I'm not really looking at this in terms of how much I've spent. Don't really care, at this point. As others stated above, my main motivation for buying in is to eventually be able to play with my kids, and teach them a fun hobby. It doesn't matter what you do for fun, the initial buy-in will cost you. I could be dropping the cash on booze, living up to my nick, but I'd rather do stuff with my friends sober anymore.

Done the math? No.

Likely over $1K? Yes.

Any more need be said? No.

Bought a 2nd collection today, which I will pick-up next weekend. Based on retail-value I think my collection would get close to the 1000 dollar mark (though I spent around 60%).

I'll sell a part of it again tho as I overspent myself a little and I have no need of a dozen Tie Fighters, 6-X-wings 5 E-Wing's, two Slave I/FalconVT-49 etc.
6 Tie Fighter's and roughly 3 of each small-based and 1 of each large-based ships will do.

I'm at about 650 USD, but I only collect scum and rebels otherwise I'd probably be there.....also no reason for anyone to feel guilty about going over a grand with their collections.....if your feeling guilty or your significant other gets mad at your spending, remember that everyone has their guilty pleasures,video game players, gearheads, pc moders, painters, whatever the hobby all spend tons of money on their specific hobby

Yes I'm sure I'm in the club and over by a fair bit. I have 2 to 4 of every small ship and a couple even more (8 x TIE Fighters). I over bought because of the Aces coming out after I had what I wanted. I also have 1 each of Large and Huge and waiting eagerly for the Gonzatai. I do wish I could find some players in my area. I like that game well enough and the Star Wars universe. But I still like my collection so far.

If I ran all generic lowest ps rebels w/ no upgrades except charadaan I'd bejust under 600pts. Get a Sunday off and you can borrow some imps and we can do 1000pt madness that will take 7hrs.

I also haven't played in months. I've purchased all the epic ships, and haven't had a single epic game either. Time and opportunity don't seem to be lining up lately.
