Adventure Packs

Hello everyone,

I have a question about the Adventure Packs. My wife and I just started playing this and we love it. We are big fans of the TCG format and have played MTG and Pokemon and are transitioning from that to play LCGs. We like that fact that card packs are released in cycles and you know what cards you're getting. Anyways, I was wondering, with the adventure packs do I need to purchase 2 set of each so we can both play or is just one enough? Is it the same with the other LCGs? (Star Wars, GoT, Android Netrunner, etc.) Thank you for your time.

Each AP has 3 copies of each of the 20 cards, for 60 total. If there are APs with general use cards you'd like to run a full set of, you might want that. But for the most part I recommend you diversify, in which case one shared copy of each AP will be plenty :)

I recommend going to that popular card game database and Board Game Geek to get a feel for what's in the different packs too. Sometimes it might be better to skip ahead a few packs to get some nice heroes/events/attachments if you're getting your butts kicked by earlier quests. You can also tell quickly what sort of cards will be in a deluxe expansion - Khazad-Dûm has, I think, exactly one card that isn't dwarf-related among the player cards. If you like stout and beardy, that's your pack :)

Just buy one. Each adventure pack works with the deluxe box just previously released to make an adventure. The player cards are only about half of the box and are three copies each. There might be a situation where you both want three copies of a card, but just use sleeves and proxies if this happens. (For me it almost never happens.)

Okay I appreciate replies. Thank you! :D
