Flying monsters..?

By Jambly Ho-Tep, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

I'm sure this has been answered before but.. If a flying monster is in the sky already and there are no investigators in any street area, just in locations, does the flying monster stay put in the sky or move to the street closest to the weakest investigator? or just to any investigator? please clarify.. thanks. one other thing i wasnt clear on in our last game.. if i use an item, such as the tommy gun, in an area with more than one monster in it, do i get the +6 bonus for combat checks on ALL the monsters in the area? or just the first one i do combat with? is it the same with spells??

It'll stay in the Sky.

Each monster is a separate combat. So Tommy Gun can be used against any and all monsters in one area, but Spells and other weapons (from expansions), which need to be exhausted to be used, are either for the combat (so one monster) or one combat check. And Tommy Gun is of course useless against a Physical Immunity monster.

right... so physical weapons are never exhausted to use? its just a permanent bonus?

awesome, thanks for clearing that up
