Armada super sale

By Crabbok, in Star Wars: Armada

My lgs doesn't even have armada stuff

Went to non lgs today to pick up some expansion packs. Spent nearly 150 bucks. If I had used mm or csi I would have spent the same amount but been able to get about 30% more or roughly a nebulon and a cr90

After $75 shipping is free. Picked up everything in Wave 2 but an ISD (got one at Sullust) for $111 and free shipping.

Per an above poster, maybe it's for orders over $100. In either case, players looking to buy everything will save lots of money on products.

Is that Domestic or International shipping? I couldn't tell with my connection...

@Drasnighta Domestic standard shipping

Ah. Then yes, definately still out of my league.

Thanks for checking for me :)

Yeah, the common US Supersellers tend to be more than a bit pricy for international stuff. I've basically ruled out Coolstuff and MM because of shipping... hmmm, alright, I normally don't endorse any one website or sale group, but I'll mention Doc's Games Store: it's a U.S. online/mail retailer that have been real good to me. I wouldn't have brought it up, but I remember $145 for Armada core, and some local talk of a $70 ISD which I thought was reaching.

I bought most of what I wanted back when the Cnd to Usd exchange rate was actually good, so I'm still sort of grinning like a loon. Anyway, they're offering ISD's at $34.47 U.S. Which is about $45.75 CND, and yeah, they've got all of wave 2 and wave 1 but you need to e-mail them to get a full catalogue. Plus, they they take off another 3% if you ask when it comes to preorders and charge a flat $5 for international shipping (free domestic, so I heard). It's generally worth it for multi item ordering, where as if you don't mind waiting, Book Depository is free shipping but might take a long time for stock to come in.

I'd love to support my local game store, and I will now that I know of one that I consider worth supporting, but I also don't mind rewarding online who deal with me fairly.

Proud new owner of a Glad for 19 bucks (including shipping). Thanks for the heads-up!

Picked up a core set from jet for about 40 bucks which I haven't opened yet, so I'm happy to see this.

Is one core plus one of each wave 1 ship enough to get a decent feel for the game? (Should I pick up the fighter squadron packs too?)

I'd recommend the fighter packs too.

You'll get a great feel for the game with your order

I just picked up a second Assault Frigate MK II from Cool Stuff to go with the 3rd Victory class Star Destroyer I got a few days ago.

So I'm happy.

Michael

I grabbed a 3rd assault frigate. With $7 shipping it was $26 and change. Great sale!

The last two Gladiators sold out as I was placing my order. :/

Decided to just throw an ISD on the list and wait. It's a shame that their price for fighters suck, as I really do need to get some of them to complement my ships.

Yup what a great sale...

:D

2 core sets, and 2 assult frigates due to arrive tomorrow. That bulks up both my fleets, provides 2 players worth of dice, damage decks, and range rulers. Also it'll provide me with plenty of fighter stands for all my custom fighters, and gives me a spare damage deck & rulers to hide in case of damage to my others! That should tide me over until wave 2 arives. Then i neen to throw a little love at my FLGS and pick up a second ISD! (Until I have enough ships to reenact the Battle of Endor, I don't have enough!)

I brought the Imperial and Rebel aces packs on Amazon today because they're both at near historic lows there. Well, at least as far as I've been tracking.

I went on Amazon for magnets for my refrigerator. **** you Amazon!!!

Mm had gladiators for same price as cool stuff. Snagged two and an imp squadron and a potato!
