Does a Hero Token still count as a hero?

By YamiDragoon, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Phew.. next question, but a short one.. I think.. :D

A Hero Token (KO hero) doesn't block line of sight, nor does it block movement and counts as an empty space for all those purposes..

BUT..

Does a Hero Token still count as a hero for hero abilities such as Astarra's?

Once per round, you may spend 1 movement point to remove your figure from the map and place it in an empty space adjacent to 1 hero who is within 3 spaces of you.

And what about those AoE heals that affect all heroes 3 spaces away from the caster and such? :D

Do those help against the KO too, maybe? :D

Thanks!

It's in the rules, I think. A hero token is not considered a hero for any means but for healing effects. So, if you're not healing the hero, he is not on the map.
