In the Dark Heresy time line, that is.

In Purge the Unclean, the dataslate with info on Ulbrexis and Morirr is dated 791.M41, and the text in the adventure refers to this as 14 years ago, which would put us around 805.M41. Yet some of the reports in the appendix are dated later, and refer to events in the past as late as 878.M41.

In The House of Dust and Ash, the Haarlock handout states Erasmus disappeared in 705.M41, and that this is more than a century ago.

Any other clues?

Well, it's obviously some time during the 9th century of M41. I would guess early/mid 800s, even though that gives some weird "future reports" on the serrated query from PtU.

The tabletop game is up to 900-something I believe, yes?

TT since Eye of Terror Campaign is at unending year 999.M41, from novels Dan Abnett´s novels varies from 3rd to 5th century in Eisenhorn and Ravenor series, second half of 8th century in Gaunt´s Ghost´s, some Graham McNeil´s Ultramarines are some months years into M42 (especialy those after Dead Sky, Black Sun IIRC) and Dark Heresy adventures of Shattered Hope, Illumination, Maggots in the Meat and Purge the Unclean according to the official timeline released by BI are set circa around year 815.M41 (by the way +/- start of Siege of Vraks).

The current Imperial Date would have to be post 127.M42 or thereabouts. Certainly after the Fall of Medusa IV which was in 006.M42. Naturally the current date in any given campaign would be up to the GM of course.

I have a timeline from the Dark Heresy Apochrypa written by Alan Bligh with:

815.M41 CURRENT DATE LINE: THE EVENTS OF SHATTERED HOPE, EDGE OF DARKNESS, ILLUMINATIONS, MAGGOTS IN THE MEAT AND
PURGE THE UNCLEAN OCCUR CIRCA THIS YEAR.

Unfortunately I cannot remember where this timeline was got from. I have a feeling that it was up on the Black Industries website.
