So... Let me get this straight. Since X Wing came out, people complained that they wore out the cardboard dials. Some people like me sprayed them with clear and put a washer in between the dials, to prevent this from occurring. This is considered excessive by some. Others said that they never experienced any wear on their dials (they're the lucky ones (or unlucky depending on your point of view)). Some contacted customer support in order to get replacement dials. And some just lived with the worn dial.
So, FFG listened to their customer base. You know, the ones complaining that their dials were wearing and wished there was a solution. And they MADE A SOLUTION! Now you can place your worn out dial in a plastic case and it can be pretty and functional again!
And we mock FFG for making a product that no one will buy and it's useless and shame those that say they'll pick some up? What kind of community are we?
(PS. My favorite part of this announcement is that I can put my rebel Z95 and Y wing dials into a Scum dial upgrade to hide the fact that it's a rebel dial)
