Haven't had too close of a look in to this Poe business other than a confusing conversation with a drunk friend who though I was on about some kids TV show... Anyway is he really such a badass?Can someone point me in the direction of the relevant thread to read on this? I'm very strongly considering picking up a pair of TFA starters an getting in on the poenanigans...

Also I'll admit to having a good laugh at all the Poe puns I've been seeing lately...

When attacking or defending, if you have a Focus Token, you can change one (EYE) to a (HIT) or (EVADE).

In other words, you only have to spend your focus token when you need to convert multiple (EYE) results.

Meanwhile, you still get your 6 hp boosty X shenanigans.

Now, one of the best upgrades you can give him is R5-P9, as your Focus Token has a very high chance of surviving the entire round of combat, and so can get even more survivability with a last-minute shield regeneration.

Immediately thereafter, grab the Integrated Astromech modification, so you can ditch the droid instead of your final HP. Note that you can look at the incoming damage before throwing R5-P9 away, so if you've got a particularly nasty Crit incoming, you can dodge it this way as well.

Now grab an Elite Talent of your choosing, and you're ready to rawk.

As nice as the new Droid is I think I'd keep autothrusters on him

I like to take something like Lone Wolf for good measure. Roll 3 dice, one blank and one Focus automatically get converted to Evades, then you can reroll with LW too. Odds of getting 3 evades is very high. Same premise when attacking minus the Autothrusters, but red roll better anyway.

Yeah, from playing him, he's **** near the Poe-pe of Nope if handled well.

At my LGS, we only have three players that show up to play consistently, so we end up doing a three-way 100 point dog fight. I have been running Poe with a couple Y wings and have yet to lose Poe. He is outfitted with Lone Wolf, R5-P9, and autothrusters. He is able to take multiple rounds of fire without dying and can run off if need be to regen shields. Poe my god is right!

I looked up the TLT because honestly I had no idea what it was and wow... Is there any way to get it other than the K wing though? I'm really not a fan of the K... I can't really explain why though..

I was in that same boat but bought myself a K and have been having a lot of fun with that ship as well. It's got a few nasty little tricks of its own. Don't hesitate too hard as you get 2x TLT's and getting those independently for $$ doesn't make a lot of sense. 1 maybe but 2, might as well buy the ship as well. IMO

Plus miranda can pull off the 7 red dice holy grail

Might have to pick up a pair of Ks then... 4 TLT would make my Y wings seem almost worth using again... Especially if I could do some sort of Poe list with some Y wing TLT fun... Could be a thing...
