Who is this glorious Admiral Bonner? Inquiring and loyal minds want to know more about this great hero operating behind Rebel lines to interdict their supply lines.

That's not what HNN is reporting tonight.

Shadowmax and his "League of Extra Ordinary Old Guys" like to send me battle reports which I post.
Mikael Hasselstein and I paid another team game last night that was 300 points per player so a 600 point game per side. We got into a huge melee that caused the loss of a CR90 for me and an Assault Frigate. He lost Demolisher and another GSD. Thankfully my side had 80 extra points.
If the game had gone on a single turn more I think I would have solidified the Victory.
To paraphrase a certain traitorous Jedi master.... Either win, or lose. There is no draw... ![]()
Congratulations again to the Imperial heroes that derailed this attemp from the rebels.
I'm off to dust off some Interceptor squadrons......
I do reports for those that send them to me.

ya know lads,it may be a small thing, but part of life is to keep the little boys alive inside of us. Contributing to a fun project like your narrative .Mikael and Lyraeus, lets us do that...and it makes 4 Old(er) guys happy, laugh, and feel young!!! I raise a pint to you and yours!!! You Lads are Great!!!
btw, Adm Bonner(Greg) is our youngest member(42 yrs) is also our most aggressive Empire player. This guy is a maniac.....not a great tactician, but his dice rolls more than make up for that.....Cripes!!! how many horse shoes does he have up there we wonders??
Thanks again to Lyraeus, Mikael and all our Fleet Family out there in Game Land!!

Mikael's side lost a 70 point Gladiator and an 88 point Demolisher bringing the points before Victory Tokens to 158. However, we were playing Precision Strike and we had gotten 80 points in victory tokens so final score is. . .
Empire with 195 in kills!
Rebels with 238 in kills!
Rebels Victory!
Though at 600 points. . . Margin of victory would likely be a tie. . . Maybe or a 6-4

I enjoy it! In fact I will be sending your last batrep to Mikael as well so that we can both write it up and throw our respective styles of writing on it.Ya know lads,it may be a small thing, but part of life is to keep the little boys alive inside of us. Ah, so this hero of the Empire is around my age (40 going on 14). Aggressiveness suits the Empire.
I read... ISB agents who have the clearance to read such filth read AFN last night, and informed me of the nature of the content. So I already have the battle report. Did you all decide on the system based on the map, or did Lyraeus fill that one in for you?
I did comment on it in my write-up of our game last night.
Incidentally, ever since Naboobo2000 won his first tournament kit medal (tournament report here), I've instituted the narrative rule for Imperial players that I will refer to them by the following ranks:
0 tournament medals won as Imperials - Captain of the Line (Senior Captain)
1 tournament medals won as Imperials - Commodore
2 tournament medals won as Imperials - Rear Admiral
3 tournament medals won as Imperials - Vice Admiral
4 tournament medals won as Imperials - Admiral
5 tournament medals won as Imperials - Grand Admiral
Which corresponds roughly to the table from the Essential Guide to Warfare, below. I wedged Commodore in there just to make list longer. Because I write up so many of my own battles, I don't really assign myself an in-universe identity. (I do have four Armada medals and one X-Wing medal though.)
Rebels, as we know from Return of the Jedi, where Han Solo and Lando Calrissian are made Generals because of their connections and vague reputations, don't reward based on merit. Besides, they're just terrorists anyway.

Mikael, we picked the sector cause it was relatively close to where we battled last time....attempting to add consistancy to your narrative....I'll point Richard and Greg to your ranking system for the Empire....they'll get a kick out of it.....keep up the Great work Lads and good hunting ![]()
Which puts me at the bottom /sigh. . . I sort of wish I was good enough for a medal. . .

Cool!
Currently, Eridicon is well within Rebel-held territory. So, Bonner is operating behind Rebel lines disrupting their logistics, while Imperial Sector Command is planning for an offensive on those lines at Turkana, Shaylin, and (if we have 6 players at the tournament tomorrow) another attempt to capture Dellalt.
That combination should give us the edge to start bringing the Calamari sector back under Imperial control.
Which puts me at the bottom /sigh. . . I sort of wish I was good enough for a medal. . .
You may win it tomorrow - especially if I don't play in order to keep the numbers even.
Which will mean a hollow victory for you.
But still a medal, so that you can stop being so **** morose about it.

You are!!! here ya go Lad...

I'll have to go check out the truthful batrep over.
And for the record, I'm 49, and counted as the most aggressive player in any game in this area. Must be all that tank army training...lol. They don't call me Wolf for nothing.....

Indeed. Admiral Ackbar is a formidable and dastardly terrorist foe. I think we need to send Storm Commando Team 6 after him in a midnight raid on his compound on Reginard.
But tomorrow you will not get to use your precious Ackbar, and Blue Citadel is still hiding in the asteroid belt of the Dellalt system somewhere.

Imperial Forces Continue to Interdict Rebel Logistics Behind Lines
